Start writing your post On October 1st, in the ten o’clock PM hour in Las Vegas, Nevada, Stephen Paddock, in the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, shot at people attending a concert close to his own location. Paddock murdered fifty-eight people and is assumed to have committed suicide. It seems that Paddock was engaging in his rampage for around ten minutes according to police. Paddock apparently sledgehammered the windows of his room. When the police made their way to Paddock’s room he shot at them before his own death. Given the death toll, the shooting is the most lethal in the country in modern times. Paddock resided in Mesquite and his brother Eric expressed incredulity at his behavior. Paddock was in the resort for a few days before his attack and had two large collections of weapons, one in Mandalay Bay and another at his Mesquite house.
(Source: people.com) Several years ago, Paddock had sued the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas after he fell while walking. He desired $100, 000 yet ultimately “got nothing” Marty Kravitz, who was the lawyer for the Cosmopolitan, says. Recently Paddock placed $100, 000 in a Filipino account. His girlfriend Marilou Danley was located there when the shooting happened and will soon be coming back to America.
