As a veteran student of K12 International Academy, writing for the iGlobe school newspaper has been one of the best parts. It is a privilege to serve as this year's Editor-in-Chief. I encourage other students to join in, find their voice, and see their writing assignments as more than just a grade. It's an opportunity to change the world when it hits the pages of our newspaper. You've got a story to tell--and the world ought to hear it.

My name is Fatima Younis, and I am a sophomore who has a variety of interests. I love playing, watching, and writing about hockey, and I am a staunch defender of the weak. My favourite NHL teams are the Montreal Canadiens and the Washington Capitals, and my national team is Canada. I also enjoy many other activities, most of which are sports or involve the great outdoors. Anyway, I hope to enlighten and change the world with my writing. As the famous saying goes, "Words are singularly the most powerful force available to humanity."
