Trump Executes Syria Policy

Early in the month, a chemical attack was conducted in a rebel province in Syria that is believed to have been conducted by the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s government. Many were killed in the attack while “some humanitarian groups said as many as 100 had died” (The New York Times).

A few days later, the administration of President Donald Trump fired nearly sixty missiles at Al-Shayrat Airfield. Even though Russia, a pivotal supporter of al-Assad’s government, was briefed on the strike before it occurred, the nation said it was an “act of aggression”. President Trump offered a rationale and defense for the strike by saying that the interests of America are served when action is taken “to prevent and deter the spread and use of deadly chemical weapons.”

However, if what you are about to post is in any way inflammatory, crude, mean-spirited, or would otherwise make your home room teacher facepalm...don't do it.  Comment boxes are a luxury, and can be taken away from all of us.  And now with that understood...go read and comment!
