Prologue
Before I start, let me get this straight. If you are reading this book that means you are a Prona, and if you feel as if you are being watched, you may be right. As soon as you are done reading, please drop this book right now or you might be in a lot more danger. If you are Babe or Sky, please know that I am very sorry for this, but there is a slight chance that the Finders might be after you.
What are Finders you ask? Let me start from this last week
January 5, 2016.
This morning you see I wake up a normal 14 year old girl with nothing to worry about except homework, crazy old teachers and mean spoiled brats.
As I was saying, my life was pretty much worry free until I saw the new girls, Babe Sorensen and Sky Jackson. Now this I where things get weird; the 2 new girls walked over to me, looked at me and then they just sat down right beside and started whispering to each other and looking at me, which was totally weird, but I only caught one sentence: ‘She is the one’.
Then I looked them straight in the eye and said, ”Ok, I don’t know who you are but please don’t get all weird on me,.”
Then my Math teacher, Mrs. Boring (That is her real name, but she pronounces ‘Brig’) came up to us and said “I hope there isn’t a problem here, cause I wouldn’t want you, Sky and Babe to get off on the wrong foot since you would be showing them around.”
“What!” I exclaimed “I can’t show them around.”
“And why is that?” she said.
“Because, um……well, oh all right I’ll show them around.”
“Great,” she said. “Now, let’s get on with the class, shall we?” And that is when it became official, Mrs. Boring hates my guts.
And I guess I thought my day couldn’t get any worse, boy was I wrong.
This is a list of things wrong with my day:
1: Babe and Sky were in all my classes
2: We had the same Homeroom
3: They kept doing that whispering thing
And to make matters worse, I had to run into the Sharks, the meanest most popular girls in school and they were throwing a party which I was invited to. (ok I admit the party part was great) but the whispers (Babe and Sky) said that I can’t go, so I did the only possible thing that I could think of, I said “ I don’t know who you are or what you want with me, but you can’t tell me what to do, I don’t even know you are, so after today just leave me alone” I felt great, but not for long, for I expected them to look sad, but they just looked at me with blank expressions.
I was about to shout some more, until I heard an explosion behind me, and before I could even turn around, the two girls dragged me across the school and into an alley. I was a bit annoyed until I looked into their eyes and saw fear, which surprised me. I was about to ask what was going on until I saw this big man walk up to me. He raised his hand and started muttering something. Babe then jumped in front of the man and then she kicked him, but she was too late. All I saw was black.
