[endif]--Tournament Season Outfits That Slay!
Century Martial Arts is a great place to get your new karate Uniform so you can look great at a karate tournament!! Some of these places only hold sales once a year. Now is the time to buy uniforms for a tournament, or maybe even just get some new uniforms, if you go to class every day like I do when I am at home in Minnesota. Check out these stores and the uniforms they have to sell! What is so cool about these types of uniforms is that there is one where you don’t have to tie your strings in and there is another one where you don’t have to roll up your sleeves.
#1: The Classic Demo Team Look!
What I like about this uniform is it doesn’t need to be tied, but it is loose enough to go in a deep enough stance when you need to.
#2: The Traditional Black Uniform (Good for
class)
What I like about this uniform is that it looks nice. It’s also good for a Black Belt to wear because the black belt you wear will blend with it. One thing I don’t like about it is the draw string waist that you can see in the picture. I can never get it to tie and stay. Some people like it though because pretty much anyone can fit in them.
#3: The Tournament Panic Attacker!
What I like about this one is that it is a lot like the first one I showed you. In a sparring match, your opponent cannot grab your gi and make it untie. It will look really cool with your black belt too.
#4: The You Pick And Match Your Own! (Extreme Gi for the Sports Martial Artist!!)
What I like about this one is that it’s sleeveless. You don’t need to hem it, or you don’t to need to roll your sleeves up. That’s what’s so great and I don’t really mind tying my gi on the top. I think this is really good for an extreme form. It is also good for a weapons extreme form. Anybody would look cool showing up in this.
You can mix pants and tops, too. But, please make it look good like white with black or red with black. But, a red top with black pants can only be worn by the Grand Ma
ster.
You can do Black with White or Red with white. Here is a funny joke... I accidently added bleach with my Black Pants in the washer and it turned Brown. Most karate uniforms are only black, red, blue, or white. But, if you put your black uniform in the washer with a whole bottle of bleach you can have a brown one too like mine!!
