iCademy Mascot Selection: Your Vote Is Needed!

At a previous Student Council Open Forum, where students come to share their ideas for the school, one student proposed the idea for a school mascot. After months of discussion and planning, the Student Council has announced through Kmail the selection process of iCademy’s official mascot that will become a permanent symbol of iCademy’s “pride, vision, strength, and diversity”. In collaboration with the Student Council, the Mascot Selection Committee formed of teachers, administrators, the Head of School, the Deputy Head of School, and the Social Media Coordinator has adopted a multi-phase process to select the mascot. Phase one is a staff survey to choose the top four mascot choices from the staff. Phase two is a student survey to determine the top three mascot choices from the students. Once these phases are completed, the Head of School and the Deputy Head of School will select and approve the top three mascot choices based on the results from the staff poll and the student poll. Once the mascot is selected, the final selection of the mascot’s image will begin. The student survey that is Phase two will be sent to the student body on Monday, February 1st. The Student Council encourages you to share your mascot ideas with your family to gather more ideas. The Student Council’s purpose is to represent the student body’s ideas to the administrative head of the school. The Student Council would like to thank you for your participation, enthusiasm, and ideas. The Student Council would also like to thank the school staff and administration for its guidance and its continued support, encouragement, and recognition of the Student Council’s efforts in promoting a positive voice in iCademy’s school community. The Student Council ended its Kmail with this encouraging sentence: “Together, we are promoting the interests of the school, in representing students, and in improving life within the school community to make it better than ever!”
