Kentucky Bourbon Balls

(My Family’s recipe)

This is a special, traditional recipe in my family. These treats will be a delight for the mouth and the heart when shared with family and friends. Guests will be flying like the Kentucky Derby to get a taste!

Ingredients:

1 box vanilla wafers

1 ½ crush pecans

3 Tbsp. corn syrup

4 Tbsp. cocoa

¾ cup bourbon

2 cups powdered sugar

2 cups powdered sugar (for rolling)

  1. Crush vanilla wafers and pecans into fine chunks

  2. Mix dry and wet ingredients together in a bowl until dough-like

  3. Make palm-sized balls out of batter

  4. Roll the balls in the extra 2 cups of powdered sugar to coat

  5. Share and enjoy delicious Kentucky-style bourbon balls!

(Store in refrigerator)
